  The apartment is above a bar which the listing says. I have a teenager so honestly the noise didn’t bother us. I could open the balcony door and hear the music so that was fun and it is great with walking distance to bars, food and Kemah Boardwalk. The apartment itself is nice enough. The beds are medium soft and comfortable. If you have small children the noise might be too much but it all shuts down at 2 am. Honestly with TVs on you can’t hear it too bad though. The jacuzzi tub is nice. The only advice I might give for the owners is invest in some black out curtains lol. It gets bright in the bedroom early and a little hot but the ac worked pretty well. Getting the key from the bar was a little hectic but all in all it was a great place and I would book again !

• Fantastic weekend

  The place was very clean very spacious had a wonderful time. It’s above the monkey bar, and the staff at the monkey bar was fantastic. Every place we went was walking distance and enjoyed the weekend. It was fantastic. I will rent again.

• AWFUL DO NOT BOOK

  apartment was 80 degrees all weekend and host did not help, he changed the filter after stating it “isn’t even that dirty” and left, stated he’d get it looked at sunday, the day we check out. he was rude in all communication and our fun family weekend ended up being miserable.

  Hi Felicia, the right vacation home is everything, and we're disappointed if this wasn't the one for you. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following:
  
  - Upon receiving your initial concern about the A/C, the host came out on Saturday morning and found the unit was functioning at 74 degrees. The filter was changed as requested, although it was not dirty
  - Our A/C technician was unable to make it to the home late Saturday night, but arrived Sunday morning to ensure everything was in working order. At that time, the temperature was again reading 74 degrees, and the refrigerant was topped off to ensure optimum performance
  - We understand that the Texas heat can make it challenging to maintain lower temperatures, especially during triple digit temperatures
  - The host's intention was to assist promptly, and apologize if their communication was received as anything other than helpful
  
  Thank you again for providing such valuable feedback. We do all we can to make the best possible stay, and we look forward to this property hosting many satisfied guests!
