From the owner: I’m sorry for the inconvenience you experienced with the hot water. The issue occurred late on a weekend, and while I wasn’t able to have it repaired immediately, I arranged for a plumber to inspect it first thing Monday, and no further problem was found. I appreciate your patience and understanding during the situation.

4/5 Sweet spot on the bayou. We were in town for work and this place provided a nice retreat after a long day. Beds are good along with the water pressure in the shower. Only bad thing I noticed was that the room with the bunk beds did not have a door. Other than that great place to stay.

2/5 add shows a boat slip with a boat lift. The boat lifts do not work and have not worked in a long time. The trash from previous visitors was left in cans and stunk very very badly! reported this to the guest contact nothing was done about it. one of the bedrooms didnt even have a door. the shower head in main bathroom was broken. The steps to both front and rear door are a bit spooky feeling like they gonna break and cause you to fall. other then these things we enjoyed our stay.

5/5 The interior of the house was very clean and comfy. Some parts of the house are showing their age, but they are not deal breakers. The check-in and checkout processes were seamless, and they had good internet connectivity.
