This house is the perfect place for a relaxing trip to south Texas. The Valley International Airport is 5 miles from the house ideal for more relaxation time. The Iwo Jima Memorial and the Harlingen Arts and Heritage Museum are both great options for exploring Harlingen when you're not relaxing by the small lake.
If you're in the mood to play golf, make your way to one of the local courses around town. The house is less than a mile from the Treasure Hills Golf Club, a well-maintained 18-hole course with top-notch golfing technology to improve your gaming experience.
Drive just under an hour to reach South Padre Island, a beautiful Gulf of Mexico resort town with plenty of beaches! Some different ways to spend the day include visiting Schlitterbahn Waterpark, catching a show at Rockstar Beach during Spring Break, or enjoying one of the delicious local restaurants.

Peaceful Easy Feeling
5/5 We spent three marvelous days in this house where time stands still and a new form of peace occupies in your mind. I'm not kidding. While my old rock n roll friends and I enjoyed our time together and had a blast, there was quiet and calm in those moments when we needed to just drift. The pool and patio area is superb with the big pond in the back and birds of all kinds visiting all day long. Very special. I went for a vigorous swim in the pool every morning, and it was rejuvenating and energizing. The house is very clean and the furnishings are exceptional. Our host, Sylvia, was amazingly helpful and accommodating, truly enhancing our stay. Harlingen is a town that only it's mother could truly love, but this house makes this destination very well worth it. We will be back.

5/5 Thank you for sharing this wonderful property with our family! There were 14 of us between the ages of 17 and 84 who enjoyed staying here. There were plenty of places to sleep and bathrooms for everyone. It is a nice quiet neighborhood which was great for going for evening walks. We appreciated Sylvia checking in throughout our stay to see if there was anything else we needed. Thank you!
