Thanksgiving Blessings
5/5 Hands down the Top 1 or 2 Best Vacation Rental we've done over the past 25+ years. Thanksgiving for 6 Adults & 4 Grandchildren. Elizabeth, Host Contact, was "fantastic" with quick responses and great information. Views from within the Home and outside on the Deck were phenomenal with a full view of the Lake, Sunrises, boats, etc. Cleanliness of the entire home was second to none upon entering and reflected on other Reviews. Every amenity you could want in a Vacation Rental. Since we were there for Thanksgiving the obvious concerns were how well stocked the kitchen was, storage for foods, prep area, etc and again exceeded our normal expectations. Kitchen was as well stocked with housewares as you would have at home. The Decks, Firepit, Game Room, and Screened in Porch provided space and opportunities for the entire group to enjoy together or peaceful time for oneself. The indoor fireplace was nice after a beautiful cool evening outside by the water and the large dining table plenty of room for multiple card or dominoes games and/or craft activities.
Pictures online are fantastic, but still hard to do justice for this home and views.
Entire family agreed this was probably our very best experience ever from over the years. Highly recommend.
Perfect Weekend Getaway with Friends
5/5 There were 7 of us looking for time away to taste wine and enjoy each others' company. The house was perfect for it with four bedrooms - each with its own bath and separated for privacy. The living spaces are well appointed with plenty of seating for dining and just hanging out. Evenings and mornings on the deck for cocktails or coffee were lovely (avoiding the heat of the Texas summer days). We enjoyed breakfasts and dinners at the house. The kitchen is very well equipped and Instacart grocery delivery made dining in a snap! Little details like labeled light switches, a notebook with all pertinent information about the house, and signs pointing out the intricacies of a septic system were invaluable. Elizabeth, the property manager, was easy to contact with questions and very responsive. We love Granbury and enjoyed nearby wine tasting at Bluff Dale and Bull Lion on the Square. We also had a great lunch at Stumpy's Lakeside Grill - so fun and funky and so close to the house, and another at Christina's on the Square. Pretty sure we'll be back!
