Nice House and location
3/5 This was the second year staying in the house. This year the grounds have not been keep up. We did use the fire pit or boat dock because the grass was waist deep and it attracted large spiders and rattlesnakes. Seen both. House was clean and nice.

5/5 We really enjoyed our stay. Aside from having no wash cloths and our small issue with the internet, everything was great!!! Our issues were corrected fairly quickly and was easily overlooked.

Let down
2/5 The home itself is in a beautiful location, but not maintained. Grass around the home and fire pit is tall, chairs around fire pit are very dirty (numerous spider webs) and several are missing the arms. Cob webs in every corner of the home and crickets inside the home. Towels in the bathrooms were still damp when we went use them the first night, and one of the showers had been broke by a previous guest. Nobody came to fix it. We booked this rental so the kids could swim off the dock. The dock is not anything like the pictures. It is old and rickety. Loose rusted nails sticking up every where. Broken and warped boards, cob webs everywhere, the ladder to get out of the water is hanging onto the dock by a thread because the boards are so rotted, and trash in the water around the dock. The water level is low so you can see empty beer cans, a lawn chair, old fishing line, etc.... The large rocks around the dock make it a poor swimming area. You could get your foot stuck in between rocks or cut on trash. Needless to say we had to leave the home and drive 45 min to Possum Kingdom lake all day Saturday to entertain the kids. Poor cell signal in and around the home; however you can easily connect to the wifi.
