  No curtains in 2 bedrooms only sheers. One set so see through you could tell exactly what the picture on the wall was. No dish washing soap or pods. No wonder all of the dishes were dirty. House rated for 14 people, 6 coffee pods 4 unused and 1 used in the Keurig, one used in the bin of unused. Ants on the kitchen counter. After walking barefooted or in socks on the floor feet were black…filthy. Neon lights would not turn off, had to unplug them. No internet, host texted after 11pm, back and forth until after midnight, asking for us to turn cameras back on, didn’t turn them off…guess they went on and off just as much as the internet. No welcome book even though the website said please look at the welcome book for instructions. Lights to back porch were in the garage, but no instructions anywhere for how to get those turned off, those shined right into the bedroom…once again only sheers. But most of all front stairway to porch only had 3 nails still attached, all the rest had pulled away from the structure. Very dangerous, so we quit using that stairway.

  We’re sorry to hear that aspects of your stay didn’t meet expectations. The homeowner would like to clarify the following:
  - The internet and security cameras went offline after your group unplugged the bookcase lights, which were plugged into the same outlet as the router and camera system; this caused a disruption in connectivity until it was addressed through late-night communication.
  - There were no used coffee pods placed in the bin, and dish soap was available under the sink as mentioned in a text, although dishwasher pods were not supplied.
  - Each bedroom has both sheer and blackout curtains, and while the sheers allow some light through, the blackout curtains can be drawn for full privacy.
  - No ants were found during or after your stay, and the home, including the floors, was cleaned thoroughly before your arrival.
  - The rear porch light is operated by a standard light switch next to the garage door, and although there is no printed welcome book, check-in instructions and property details are provided digitally.
  - The front staircase is structurally secure, with significantly more than three nails holding it in place; it is inspected regularly for safety.
