  Dishes in cabinet were dirty. Had to be washed before you could use them. Had dried food on them. Table chair leg was broken. Stove top would heat up and turn off, heat up and turn off -- took a long time to cook even scrambled eggs. A/C was good and other amenities were good.

  - They’ve asked their cleaning team to double-check all dishes moving forward to ensure everything is spotless and guest-ready.
  - The broken chair leg has since been repaired to avoid any inconvenience for future guests. The stovetop has been inspected by an appliance technician to ensure it’s functioning properly going forward.

• Beach weekend

  This was the 1st VRBO that I have not been completely satisfied. The location of the property was not as close as I wanted and anticipated. I would not have knowingly selected a place that involved crossing the main street to get to the beach. The house was very nice. I was disappointed not to be able to access the pool and unfortunately the main day (Friday) it was so loud (music from large outdoor speakers behind the home and roof construction) outside that any chance of sitting out peacefully was not possible (of course this is not under the control of the property owner or manager).

• Fantastic house

  Beautiful beach house! It was clean, modern, and cozy. The kitchen was well-stocked. A bit of a walk to the beach if carrying chairs etc, but there is an easy place to park right across the road. Would absolutely stay here again!

  Travis was a wonderful host and answered all of our questions promptly. The house was spotless and was exactly as pictured on the website. We really enjoyed the quietness and how safe we girls felt in our home and the beaches on the west side of Galveston. If you are looking for low key and relaxing, this is your happy place!
