• Had to vacate early

  The pictures made it seem very nice so I rented the retro unit. We arrived late at night in a strange part of town (not close to the beach at all) and I took video and photo of the condition walking in to cover myself in case of damage. The floors were very dirty, the kitchen was haphazardly put together (pans about to fall out including damaged ones), the futon has a broken leg and white stains all over...but the kicker was when I woke up in the morning to turn the ac off. There was so much black mold I couldn't hardly believe it. It's visible from a distance so there really is no excuse to not have done something about it sooner. We had two kids with us and I'm so glad they kept their unit off all night because every single unit had black mold. We left that day and the owner said they were going to come clean them, but honestly they need a proper mold remediation company to come in or buy new units because it was abundant. We were offered a refund for the night and for the cleaning fee and we went to the Doubletree which was a relief. Definitely will be pickier going forward. The customer service however on the evolve side was topnotch from start to finish and beyond, so I won't throw the baby out with the bathwater-so to speak. Five stars for the evolve team.

  Place was fine, it served the purpose. Bathroom was nice and clean with shampoo, body wash and conditioner dispenser and adequate towels. Utensils and futon can use some tlc, had to rewash utensils, a couple more chairs would complete the 6 it said it can accommodate, bed were probably full size kinda tight for 2 but works and customer service could be more customer oriented — this mostly spelled the rating made here.

• Home Away From Home

  The property was exactly as pictured! It was located just off the main strip- close enough to enjoy but not deal with the traffic. The beds were SOOO comfortable, which is a huge plus when staying away from home. The property manager lives on-site, and was very welcoming. We did not have to reach out for anything, but ran into her while using the outside area one evening. The only negative thing I could say was the coffee bar was not restocked. Everything else was just as or better than expected!

  super quiet and comfortable for a family, very close to the beach, the aquarium, the park, it has many restaurants nearby, we loved the place we would go again
