Our family group of 12 had a fantastic stay at this gorgeous & spacious lake house! Paul & Shari thought of everything that might possibly be needed or wanted to make our stay completely effortless. There were no guessing games to find things in the cabinets or figure out which light switch handles what thanks to the labeling system. Check-in and check-out was super easy (although I'll admit to feeling a bit guilty about the pile of bedding & towels we left behind)! We were lucky enough to have great weather all weekend and everyone enjoyed the lake either swimming, kayaking, paddle-boarding or just hanging out on the dock. It was so peaceful, we felt like we were the only ones around for miles! The nice wide driveway made parking a breeze for our 5 cars. I think my favorite thing was having a kitchen big enough for several to work together on meal prep and then a table big enough (with the extra 2 seats at the bar) that we could all sit together. You absolutely cannot go wrong booking a stay here. We are looking forward to our next visit!
From the Owner: "Kim, Thanks for choosing Sunset Shores for your family weekend. We are so glad you found everything you needed to have a great weekend. We hope to have you return in the future. Improvements will be made over the winter months!"
The house was every spacious and welcoming. The lake views were fantastic. The sunset were absolutely amazing.

The property was just what we needed-great location on the water, all the amenities we wanted (plus more), in a non-pretentious, comfortable home. Paul & Shari were fantastic-just enough contact to be friendly & helpful, but not so much as to be intrusive. After the stay, Paul reached out about a minor issue-quickly & easily resolved in a most good-natured and amicable way! I hope we are able to stay again, for the property and the hosts were just marvelous.
From the owner: "Vince, We are so glad your big family had a wonderful time enjoying the property. Please do come back! Our house is perfect for a large family like yours."
This house has everything you could possibly want. There are games for family game nights, toys for toddlers, comfortable beds for everyone, a grill, lots of kitchen supplies, outdoor play structure, plus two kayaks and a paddle board! And to top it off, a beautiful lake view and access to Lake Palestine! There was something for everyone in our 3 generation family! We have stayed at several nice spots on Lake Palestine, but this one is by far the best! Paul and Sheri are gracious hosts, thank you!See you next summer!

Came cause we were doing a golf trip but wanted to stay on the lake. This house was awesome! its huge and had plenty of room to spread out in the house! There was 8 men at the house and none of us ever felt cramped. The deck is huge too with 3 different level. The grass all the way to the lake is perfect and then you have the dock with kayaks for use which is an added bonus! The best part though is the view at sunset. The sun sets directly behind the house in summer and its stunning! The owners are very involved and attentive to any needs! It was one of my best VRBO experiences ever. Highly Recommended
