Overall the place was very clean, we liked the location, off the path by a mile or so but still only 10min to town.
Internet, smart tv and all that worked great.
However, gas grill igniter didn’t work, so grill didn’t work.
Hot tub was absolutely filthy AND low on water so the jets were making some crazy noises so we just flipped the breaker for the hot tub to turn it off the whole trip
The bed frame in the main bedroom was broken, literally was unbolted and the whole top of the bed fell to the floor putting the bed at a 45* angle. I am a mechanic by trade so I was able to get to the bed frame and find the nuts in the floor and install the frame correctly and get the nuts hand tight so we could at least use the king size bed.
All the beds are hard as a rock. Like no joke, sleeping on the carpeted floor would be more comfortable. I have no idea why anyone would ever make a mattress that miserable. Iam 325lbs and like a firm mattress, so that’s saying something. Wife was so uncomfortable she slept on the couch every night after the first night.
No hot water either for whatever reason, we had to use a pot to heat water on the stove to use for cleaning dishes after we ate. Also, no hot water in the showers either.
Over all, don’t recommend it at all in its current state. Clearly there is no one paying attention. If they fix some of the basic necessities and the main draw to the house (the hot tub) it would prob be a pretty decent , private place to stay.

Hi Hannah, we want our guests to rest easy when they stay with us, and we apologize if you experienced some issues during your trip. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following:
- Our records show that the hot tub was cleaned before your check-in. We do understand that these amenities play a large role when guests book a property. We apologize that you were uncomfortable during your stay.
- The cleaners had no issues using the hot water to clean the floors right after your stay. We wish you had reached out to us during your stay regarding all of your concerns. We would've been more than happy to resolve your concerns and make your stay more comfortable.
- We’re sorry to hear that you weren’t comfortable during your stay. We do know that mattress preference is unique to each guest and while we try to accommodate all guests' comfort, mattress taste is subjective. We're sorry the mattress didn't meet your preferences. Thank you for sharing your feedback with us.
- While we do regret our home was not up to your expectations, we’re happy to share that no issues were reported by our most recent guests. We truly go above and beyond for our guests and are confident that future guests will have a wonderful stay!
I don’t know where to begin. The house was clean and nice. The grass was at least 2 feet tall and we weren’t able to use the backyard because of this. The hot tub had an oily film on top of the water. The grill is broken and disgusting. The stove only works with the burners on high. I contacted the person the first day about the grass and she said they would take care of it but they did not. The beds are so hard and uncomfortable. The bunk bed is super unsafe and rickety. It’s not put together well. I tried to reach out about my thoughts and the issues we had but it was very difficult to do. I sent an email and never heard back.
Very nice and clean house. Hot tub was the star of the show! Only issues we had was no disinfectant cleaner such as wipes or spray. And no instruction on how to lock the door with the key pad. We had to google how! Other than those minor things that it was a fantastic get away and we enjoyed it very much!

We spent a week at Canyon Lake with our friends and our three kids. The house had everything we needed. We grilled almost every night and watched the sun go down in the hot tub outside. Waking up to deer in the morning was a bonus treat.

Went with 2 adults and 3 teens. There was plenty of room and all was as it seemed in the listing. Hot tub was very nice as was the game room. We enjoyed it very much
