Thanks for taking the time to leave a review, Robin. We shared your feedback with the owner and they'd like to clarify the following:
-There are two central air conditioning units, one serving the front 40% of the house, and the second serving the back 60% of the house. The issue was with the front unit, the second central air conditioning unit, in the back was working throughout this period. Please keep in mind that this was the hottest summer on record for Austin. The outside high temperature during that weekend was 108°F.
-We received a message regarding your concerns the morning after check-in, we responded within the hour and had a confirmed HVAC appointment within an hour and a half.
-The technician informed us the front unit was frozen and that was likely the cause of the efficiency issue. He suggested keeping the air conditioning off for two hours and turning it back on. Once the unit was turned back on a few hours later, we noticed the temperature began to drop that evening.
-As we recognized the inconvenience this caused, we promptly bought and brought two additional ready-to-use floor fans, even though we were about 45 minutes away from the house at that time. Our home does offer two ceiling fans in the front area of the house where the temperature was higher.
-It is very unfortunate that these out-of-the-ordinary events occurred during your visit, and we hope you understand we tried to remedy any of the issues as promptly as possible.

5/5 The property had lots of beds and was very clean and comfortable. The only complaint I have was that the listing advertises a pool when really it’s just a pool table. Besides that, everything else was great!
