  We had such a great little getaway! We shared the place with another couple and it was perfect! There were so many little touches that we kept noticing all weekend. The place was very clean and the beds were so comfy! I sleep at home on a 10k bed and was worried about missing my bed, butslept like a baby! We had one meal cooked at the house and had all the utenils and dishes we needed. We played cards all night with the game area provided and the internet stayed strong to listen to music. We did not take advantage of the Cornhole game and BBQ area. There were plenty of linens. The outside shower will come in useful in warmer weather for sure. You can get a beach pass for $10 at the grocery store and park right by the water. I seen a couple bonfires and it looked like fun. You can see the water from both balconies and it's a short walk. I wish we had more time to do everything.

  We did not have to reach out to management for anything,but we were contacted to see if everything was ok and it definitely was. I would give 10 stars if it was an option, so we will stick with the five!

• Termites… infested in living room & appeared in kitchen.

  Mattress in master bedroom needs to be replaced. They could use more towels & better quality. The out door frig needs to be replaced rusted, plus didn’t work for 3 days, magically started working the 4th day. Much too our surprise No toilet down stairs, BUT PICTURE STILL APPEARS ON THE SITE. TOTALLY MISLEADING. Would NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN. Fyi I have stayed in Crystal Beach several times, love the area. Totally disappointed with this property. Debbie F. from Central Texas

  Hi Debbie, we want our guests to rest easy when they stay with us, and we apologize that you experienced some issues during your trip. We followed up with the owner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following:
  - The property is regularly treated for pests. We contacted the company who recently sprayed the property and they stated that there were no signs of any termites.
  - We try to accommodate all guests' comfort. The mattress and 4-inch mattress topper are both fairly new. We have had numerous compliments on how comfortable the bed is, but we're sorry it didn't meet your preferences.
  - Thank you for letting us know of your concern with the towels in the property. New towels were recently purchased based on your recommendations.
  - In regards to the outdoor fridge, we were unaware that it had not been working properly. The rust is a result of environmental elements. We have since disposed of the fridge to ensure future guests do not have the same experience.
  - We sincerely apologize for the misunderstanding with the toilet downstairs. It’s against the code in Crystal Beach now, therefore, we could not have it repaired. We forgot to take the picture down from our listing, but we have since made these necessary changes.
  - We have taken your concerns seriously and have hired a new property manager to ensure our guests receive the best experience possible.
