3/5 Great location, nice/friendly neighborhood, good sized house, nice yard. The bed mattresses seemed very firm upon sitting but were surprisingly very comfortable. Just wish the main bed was on an actual frame instead of on a box spring on the floor. Unfortunately the house had a strong musty smell throughout that was unpleasant, believe this was related to a very high humidity level in the house (72%). It did not appear to be cleaned thoroughly between guests - the couch had a lot of food and debris under the cushions, couch cover was dirty and needed to be washed by us. Toiletries provided but not filled. Pool heater seemed to be broken.

We want our guests to arrive at a vacation home that is 100% ready for their stay, so we take the cleanliness of our properties seriously! We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and after checking in with their cleaners, they wanted to share the following:
- We've asked our cleaning company to add checking under the couch cushions to the regular cleaning routine, along with making sure the couch covers are refreshed more often.
- They also mentioned that toiletries are usually stocked, but they didn’t confirm the supply before your arrival.
- They didn’t notice a musty smell during the prep, but with Houston’s humidity often hitting 80–90%, we understand how the house could’ve felt damp. We’ll be keeping a closer eye on this going forward.
- The pool isn’t advertised to have heating, so we’re sorry if you didn’t see this information on the listing and that it impacted your stay.

5/5 The house was very clean and in a nice neighborhood. Beautiful pool! Comfortable beds, nice big soaking tub. My kids and I enjoyed our stay very much! Would stay again.The only issue when arriving, the lock box code instructions were incorrect. I called our host and she was very helpful in giving us the correct code.
