  We enjoyed the house, it’s nice but we ran out of hand soap, dish soap, and kept losing internet. We had to buy paper towels because there was a scant amount on the roll when we got there. We wasn’t able to access the waterfront due to huge logs, trash and trees that have washed up. It’s too much for us to try and clean up just to get in with a kayak. Our dog kept getting sticker burs in her paws from the grown up weeds in the yard. My husband did fix the gas grill from a previous tenant that used charcoal in it. It does work and it’s clean now. The propane tanks were empty so we had to go into town to get one. The nice host did reimburse us for that. The stovetop was dirty and we did find that cleaner and so we got it looking new again. There are no cleaning supplies there so we wasn’t really able to clean but with water. Usually all that stuff is available so that was a bit frustrating!We really feel like we paid too much for all the trouble inconveniences we encountered. We left a day early since some of the stated amenities were not available or accessible.

• Peaceful water view

  We really enjoyed our stay. The house was clean and well stocked. We thought the bed was firm but super comfy. When we weren’t out on our boat we were on the patio overlooking the lake. The water splashing on the shore was very relaxing. We saw lots of deer and birds.

  I really love the location, very very quiet and on the water, it was too cold to fish for us but the closeness of the water was good. The place was clean but I did not like the bed it was hard and the pillows need to be replaced with new the bedding sheets were also worn. We slept on top of the comforter aside from that we did enjoy our time there.

  The location was perfect. It was right on Lake Buchanan with beautiful lake views right off the balcony. The location was very private and quiet with all of the amenities of home.
