  This property does need meet any type of housing standards for rental properties. Water pressure so poor we couldn't flush the toilets. A steady leak in one shower, resulting in a towel on the floor when we arrived that was soaked. No towels in the bathrooms, but a load of towels in the dryer. Wi-fi not connected and no instructions for the password. Extremely dirty. Heating system so poor that the heat did not extend to the lower level, while the upper level was uncomfortably warm. Floor so dirty that the sole of the children's feet were filthy once they took their shoes off. I could go on, but I caution everybody to look elsewhere for a place to stay.

  This was by far the worst Vrbo stay we have ever experienced and left our entire weekend feeling disappointed and frustrated. The house was not clean, not properly maintained, and honestly not livable.Upon arrival, the property was awful dirty. There was hair and residue in the upstairs shower, and mold present in two of the showers. The third shower was completely unusable. The downstairs shower did not work at all. This was worse than camping.Several basic functions in the home did not work. The downstairs toilet did not work. The upstairs toilet would not shut off completely. The downstairs fireplace did not work. There was no heat downstairs, which made the space extremely uncomfortable. We actually had to go to the store and buy electric blankets and a space heater just to be able to stay.When we attempted to cook breakfast for our family, we pulled out a pan that had molded food still stuck in it. Every single coffee cup was filthy and had to be pre-washed before we could use them. This was extremely upsetting and unacceptable, especially when cleanliness is a basic expectation.There were major issues with furnishings and basic supplies. There was no toilet paper, no towels, no soap, no shampoo, no paper towels, and no kitchen plates. The upstairs bed had no blanket, only sheets. The downstairs bedroom did not even have a top sheet. The light in the upstairs bedroom did not function.The exterior door downstairs would not shut completely, which was concerning.

  Absolutely horrendous!! Property obviously had squatters, it looked like they got in through the window of the first floor bedroom. when we contacted the host (3rd party company called Evolve) concerned about the security of the property and our safety, they were dismissive and stopped responding altogether. They did not try to work with us at all. Property obviously had not been kept up with for quite some time. Yard and weeds were over grown. There were cobwebs on all of the windows. Only got a few pictures bc we didnt stay long at all once we realized someone was possibly on the property.

  No wifi as promised, overgrown grass, leftover old corn on the blackstone grill. Upstairs doors don’t shut, bathtub is in terrible shape. Not very good response from the host. Ants everywhere. Junky place. Raccoons living under the house. Wild times

  The experience was awful. After traveling 7 hours, tired and still having to do some running around in Lubbock for our family reunion the next day and come to see the place had not been cleaned, filthy dirty SMELLING BAD. Was already stressed and now it’s late and I needed to get the family situated and was losing time. The host assured us the place was going to be cleaned, but this place needed a lot of cleaning inside and outside.

  Grass up to your knee, grills filthy dirty, trash needed picked up, outdoor carpet, barstools & table dirty not suitable for use.

  Inside I understand a place had been rented and left dirty for days. Mold on dishes, stinky diapers, dirty linen not taken off beds, plunger stick side in toilet. Thick cobwebs on wall/ceiling, 2nd floor French doors don’t even shut properly. I tried working with the Host but she was not available to meet with me. Would not recommend this place to stay.

  Was stressed, tired from the travel and ended up renting another place at the lake.
