  Absolutely charming and wonderfully kid-friendly! Our family’s stay at this lovely cottage near Houston was simply delightful. Nestled in a serene setting, the cottage exudes warmth and comfort, with plenty of space for little ones to play. The interior is tastefully decorated, and the hosts thoughtfully provided amenities for children, making our stay stress-free and enjoyable for the whole family. The proximity to Houston makes it convenient for both city exploration and peaceful countryside getaways, catering to every family member’s desires. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and accommodating, adding an extra layer of hospitality to our experience. Highly recommend for families seeking a relaxing escape with a touch of home away from home.

  This is a beautiful spacious home in a quiet neighborhood. The views were amazing and peaceful. The kitchen is so well stocked and hosts are super nice and responsive. The house was so clean and perfect for our family with young toddler. We would absolutely stay here again.

• Weekend getaway!!

  We came from NC to visit some family members, but since their house was small, we decided to rent a place and have them over by us and we had a wonderful experience at this property. The comfy beds, along with the updated kitchen and bathrooms, made for a comfortable stay. The beautiful furniture, picture windows, and hot tub overlooking the yard provided a cozy and luxurious atmosphere was perfect for a social gathering with my family .The property's privacy, surrounded by tall trees and ponds, added to the serene ambiance, making it an ideal spot. I'm happy to have found this place! Owner was very helpful and friendly, However, do note that there aren't many restaurants in close proximity.

• Fantastic getaway with great accessibility!

  Had a wonderful experience! The place is super clean and very well-maintained with an amazing view and a lovely interior design. The deck is perfect to hang out and chill with family and friends while enjoying a gorgeous view throughout the day. The fire pit and hot tub are in great condition and definitely made our stay even more memorable. There is plenty of room inside and outside for any kind of activity you can think of for a real fun vacation! There is also a cute tiny pond and creek right outside of the house to top it all off. I also really liked the location. You get to enjoy all the peace and quiet of being in nature, while still reasonably close to Houston. The best of the both worlds! The host is also amazing, responsive, attentive and easy to communicate with. Highly recommend this place for any type of vacation, specially if you are looking at staying closer to the city AND vacation!

  It’s a nice getaway close to Houston for a weekend. We absolutely loved our stay at this property in Brookshire ! The place was super clean and cozy, with clean sheets and towels waiting for us. The beds were comfortable, and the view of tall trees surrounding the pond was just beautiful. The host was so friendly and really went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. I'd definitely recommend this place to anyone seeking a peaceful and relaxing getaway.

  Roads are dark at night so you better get there before dark.
