  For starters there are zero smoke detectors in this house. The contact person tried to tell me that the carbon monoxide detector was a smoke detector. Which is 100% inaccurate. The day of check in I received a text with new rules, saying that my dog had to be in the crate at all times and that if there was any dog hair after check out that they would charge an extra cleaning fee. The place wasn't even clean when I arrived. They left a blanket in the dryer which wasn't fully dried. Stuff in the dishwasher which was dirty, a pot with cooking oil inside the oven. I wiped a window and the paper towel came up with black residue. The vacuum that I requested so I could vacuum the dog hair, daily, was left with the canister full of trash and the filter was filthy. The dryer filter was also full of lint and there was something sticky in there too. One pillow case had mascara on it, so I doubt it was washed. Hair in the shower drain. Bathroom and bedroom doors that jam. They use paper blinds, so no privacy and outside lights shine in all night. I took pictures of all this and sent them to the contact person. They refunded me one night stay, but the cleaning fee that they charged is higher than the one night charge, not to mention all the other fees tacked to the bill. There are plenty of beds, but not enough towels for the amount of people that it says it accommodates, nor enough cookware or dinning ware. Zero glasses or cups. At check out the asked that I cleaned the floors for their next guest. So the check in and out instructions that you see on the listing will change if you make a reservation. How is that ok by Evolve? If you value your safety (no smoke detectors) and your money, I would look anywhere else.

  Great little place! Enjoyed all the beds and room. Not very many kitchen supplies but we made due. The floor wasn’t as clean as we would have liked it but I would come back and stay at this place again. Beautiful location. Hose was attentive and helpful. We enjoyed this property very much. Beautiful little place.
