Excellent Family Vacation
5/5 We loved our stay at the River House! The home is well-stocked with everything you need and more. The beds are comfortable and the seating areas all around the home make for such lovely times with family! The river was low when we were there but enough to dunk under a bit and the kids (teenagers) put the kayaks in the water and paddled around. The property is beautiful with all the large trees, swings, and large porch. We loved exploring Blanco and Wimberly. It was the perfect hub for our adventures. It was a wonderful stay! I can definitely recommend this home to anyone looking for a place to stay!
Perfect family getaway!
5/5 Me and my family full of littles had such a fantastic stay at the River House! The house itself was cozy, cute, and well stocked with everything we needed plus some. And the outdoor spaces make this the perfect relaxing getaway!
Having preschool-age kids can make stays away from home challenging, but we had such a good experience at the River House and were amazed by how kid-friendly everything was! The bedrooms have plenty of options for kids (space for a pack-n-play, safe bunk beds), there are so many toys, games, and activities available, and we especially loved that the river was accessible, but a safe distance from the house so that monitoring kids outside wasn't difficult. Our kids (ages 1, 3, and 4) had the time of their lives and are always asking when we can go back to the River House!
We're so thankful for the time away together we were able to enjoy. Can't say enough good things about this rental! Definitely book it!
