Overall stay was good! Host reached out in advance to make sure I had everything to access the property

We chose this property because it was central to our friends and family we would visit over the duration of our stay. It also had the amenities like garage, full kitchen, washer dryer.
1. Upon entering residence, above the door looked like there was mold. The strong perfumed scent was unplugged only to reveal a urine scent by the kitchen.
2. The bathrooms were not clean. Master bathroom toilet had a black ring around its rim. The mirrors looked like a dirty rag wiped it while steamed up. The toilet had a slow leak that we mistook for getting out of the shower a little wet, so damp bath mats (gross)
3. We bought our own towels, the ones in the closet were dingy.
4. Washer did not work, and it locked our clothes in it.
5. The vent was filled with a lot of built up dust/dirt and rusted.
6. The vent over the stove was disgustingly, so we elected not to cook in it.
7. Tons of spiders (daddy long legs) my daughter was freaked out.
The parts that didn’t go bad:
1. Close to everything
2. Lots of space
3. WiFi works well ( but only one tv)
4. Host was accommodating on check in time.
5. Easy to get in and out
6. Thoughtful Knick knacks like playing cards
Suggestions for improvement:
1. Fumigate
2. Pay for a deep clean, it is so nasty it is uncomfortable
3. Update the furniture. It looks like it was thrown together from pieces of a very old person’s house.
4. The floors are cheaply done and you can see where moisture is impacting it
5. Definitely clean the vents
6. Replace the shower curtain/ towels
7. Fix or replace the washing machine or remove it as an amenity.
