The property manager checks messages frequently to ensure prompt responses to all guest inquiries. Regarding the presence of spiders and spider webs, our property is located directly on the lakefront, where bugs and insects are more prevalent, especially near outdoor lights. We follow a regular pest control schedule and have insect repellent canisters placed around the property to minimize these issues. Despite our efforts, the natural environment does mean occasional encounters with insects. We appreciate your feedback as it helps us improve our services. We hope you consider staying with us again, and we will ensure that your next visit is even more enjoyable.

  We booked the home to take in the Eclipse. We really enjoyed the stay. The extra little touches were very nice and welcoming. The home was very clean, linens and beds were very comfortable. We would 100% recommend this property to anyone looking for a beautiful lakefront view. We recommend installing a handrail to the steps. We reached out to property contact via phone (left vm) and email to see if we could arrive a little early. I never received a callback or an email response.

  We rented all three of the related properties to host a wedding party. The small chapel was about thirty minutes away but everyone loved the “get away” vibe of the location. Several folks fished, enjoyed the water, and watched beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Great options for everyone!!

• Great family weekend

  We had a very enjoyable stay here for a long weekend with family. The lake is gorgeous and felt very secluded. Plenty of deer sightings ! The house was new and very comfortable. Our host was easy to reach and responsive when we had difficulty with the Wi-Fi connectivity, and we appreciated the delicious complimentary bottle of wine that was waiting for us when we arrived. A few tips for future guests; the coffee maker is small and the #2 filters fit well when folded if you finish off the complimentary packs provided. Some beach towels are available, but you may want to bring extra if you have a larger group. Jefferson is a short drive away and is full of fun things to do. Things we loved included the ghost tour, General Store, Red Bus cupcakes, and Auntie Skinners Riverboat Cafe. And don’t miss a drive to Ore city for some great East Texas Tomatoes at Newsom’s Grocery.
