Cozy Weekend Getaway
5/5 We absolutely loved our weekend stay at Bear Acres Getaway! The location is just minutes from some of the best restaurants, hikes, and excursions in the area—we spent a beautiful morning in Cades Cove. There’s still so much we didn’t get to do, like tubing, mountain biking, and horseback riding, so we’re already looking forward to coming back in the summer.
Kirk was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay, which made everything even more enjoyable. The house was very well stocked, with plenty of linens and towels for our group of six. We were especially impressed that there was more than enough hot water for everyone—something that can be hard to find with a larger group!
The kitchen was well equipped, and the living space felt cozy and perfect for spending quality time together. We also loved the wraparound upper deck—it was the ideal spot for relaxing and hanging out in the evenings.
5/5 Excellent communication from the host from the very beginning of the process. The cabin was exceptionally clean, cozy, and well appointed. A great value.Kirk even made sure there was a meat thermometer in the kitchen so we could cook our Thanksgiving turkey! We loved the privacy and the conveniences nearby as well. My family would stay here again without hesitation. Thanks so much for a wonderful holiday!

5/5 Clean with great amenities. Lots of extras to make the stay extra comfortable. VERY private and peaceful! It was a great getaway for us. This was our second time staying here, and even better than the first time!
