A bit misleading
3/5 First, we did have a good time. However, we felt that the description was misleading. It said the house was on 25 acres, but failed to mention that there were houses on both sides, so no wondering around on all that acreage. We were also surprised to find that that the highway was so close. We could see the cars through the trees from the deck and it was quite noisy. The most disappointing thing was how hard it was to access the creek without going on another property. We had to climb over a pile of rocks. In addition, it is advertised that the property is 7 miles from downtown Tellico. We clocked it at 15 miles, which was about 20 minutes. We had specie plans for the weekend and had to modify, so we were disappointed.

Perfect Getaway!

Great hidden place and beautiful property
5/5 We had a great time. Spent most of our time fishing the telico river but when we were at the cabin it was very peaceful. Everything you need is there

Perfect Weekend
5/5 We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend stay at Freedom Cabin. The cabin was very clean and had a very homey feel to it. We would definitely recommend this cabin.
Peace and quiet
5/5 Booked this for my parents wedding anniversary and it's exactly what they wanted. They loved the creek and the deck the most. This was in February and alot of the gift shops, welcome centers etc was all closed for the season. This was a disappointment about the area. The TV in cabin was tricky. My dad couldn't get it to work except for basic channels. Deff enjoyed the cabin and the scenery. I'm sure they will always treasure these memories
