  We weren’t able to use the pool, but my kids enjoyed playing outside and running down the hill. The kitchen had all the utensils you would need to prepare a meal including baking pans for breakfast. The fridge had plenty of room for our cold items. The beds were comfortable and the linens were clean and soft. There were lots of big towels but we ended up having to wash for more small towels. We had a five day stay so that wasn’t an issue and the laundry pods and fabric softener sheets were available to use. Having the washer and dryer on site was a HUGE bonus! The bathroom was stocked with bags, cleaning supplies, a hairdryer and even sanitary products which was a nice touch. The extra half bath was great since we had a group of 6. There were lots of dressers and drawers and great closet space. The TVs had Dish cable and streaming options with a surround sound which was great for evening relaxation. There was plenty of parking space, but we only had one vehicle.Cons: When we first arrived there was a weird smell, not bad, but not necessarily fresh. I sprayed some perfume and it was fine. We did see a small roach in the kitchen but the property is near a lot of trees. Bug spray is provided. There were LOTS of ladybugs. We didn’t mind and the kids loved it, but they were popping up all throughout the house. We had some trouble with the sliding doors getting off track, but it didn’t cause an issue. The rooms share a door which locks, but the back sliding door doesn’t lock.

• The Perfect Cozy Cabin

  We came into town with our gaggle of children to explore the Smoky Mountains and this little cabin was perfect for our needs. The beds were comfortable with plenty of extra linens and blankets. The cabin was clean and cutely decorated with black bears. The home was well stocked with all the things needed to make our dinners, clean dishes, and do laundry! Oh how I appreciated the washing machine and dyer!! The WiFi worked well and was perfect to catch up on calls and emails we missed while in the Smokies. The kids enjoyed relaxing and watching TV after a long day of hiking. The pool and pond were an added bonus we didn’t expect! Our boys LOVED the water and getting to fish (and release) at the pond. I personally enjoyed sitting in the shade on the bench watching the ducks and just taking in the nature all around. There was also ample parking. You can tell the owner of this property has taken a lot of thought into providing a comfortable and cozy place to stay!

  10/10 amazing,clean, and functional space. It had everything you could ever need and more!! As well as an amazing location, only 30 minutes from knoxville and 40 from gatlinburg!! I will 100% be coming back!! If you’re looking for a comfortable place that feels like home this is it!!
