Mice droppings in the kitchen and in the laundry area. No privacy in the master bedroom guests have to go through the master bedroom to go to their rooms upstairs no GFCI plugs in the bathroom I consider that a safety hazard if you have to use a hair dryer or curling iron anything electrical light in dining room flashing on and off Plus chains on fan were way too high hard to change the speeds without standing on a chair, barbecue grill outside was filthy all rusted on the inside did not barbecue because of that. Should have taken photos but we were at a funeral and it wasn't on our minds to take pictures. Overall I would stay in this place again if they lowered the price and fix the issues that I have mentioned. K.perry

The property is nicely remodeled and very clean. The property owner responded immediately to an issues with the HVAC and we stayed nice and cool! There is strong WI-FI in the living room if you need to do some work from home. Conveniently located near the ferry and docks. Stores, gas, and restaurants right around the corner.

Overall very pleased with the location. House has character and there is ample sleeping locations in the home. Easy to access and check out was simple. Working with the management company was easy too. Overall a wonderful weekend at the house!

We enjoyed our short stay here while visiting family nearby. The house was well equipped with everything we needed and the house was clean and comfortable. There is no cell service here so be sure to have hard copies of your access instructions. We were not as prepared as we should of been and had to drive a bit to find signal to get the key code.

I really wanted to be able to write a great review about this house, but I cannot. This is the only house available to rent within a hours drive of where my husband’s family lives. So it was slim pickings. Upon check-in, the house appeared to be decently clean. But as we started to unpack, I started to notice that they were cobwebs in the corners, dead bugs on the floor. The blind upstairs was broken. Tennessee in December can be warm or it can be very cold. Nowhere in the listing did it say there was no heat upstairs where four of the beds are located. Granted, the owner son did come by and offer us space heaters. With the danger of space heat starting fires I did not feel comfortable doing that especially with little kids in the house. So my husband slept upstairs and I slept downstairs with our children. There was an old bath sponge from a previous visit left hanging in the shower. The house was stocked with every day essentials so I wish I could give a five star rating just for that. The linens and towels appeared to be clean. I’m not sure when the last time anybody stayed in this house, but it had been quite some time since it had been cleaned and I wish that given the fact that there was almost a $400 cleaning fee associated with this rental that, somebody would have came and freshened up the house for us before we arrived. There is also a door leading to the outside in the downstairs bedroom where the children and I slept. I wanted to make sure that door was locked before going to bed but when I tried to lock the deadbolt, I realized it was a dummy deadbolt and there was no actual deadbolt on the door. So I opened the door and realized that the house had been previously broken into and the whole door frame had been kicked in and was pieced back together. There was no deadbolt, but just a handle lock on the door knob. I don’t feel as though that this is a safe situation or anything that any renter wants to discover when they’re staying there that somebody had previously broken into the house, and the door was not restored or fixed to the original safe condition. I really feel badly about leaving a not so great review given the fact that there’s really nowhere else to stay near my husband‘s family. But the amount of money we paid to stay in this house makes me sick to my stomach. I honestly would’ve rather driven an hour to Clarksville and stayed in a hotel.
