Beautiful, immaculate cabin!
5/5 This cabin is absolutely beautiful! Its one of the cleanest cabins we've ever stayed in. The communication was wonderful as well. Easy to find, we'd definitely stay here again! We definitely recommend this cabin to anyone looking to stay in the area.
Our stay
3/5 The cabin was great. It was cozy and so nice. Clean and beautiful inside. Loved the porch. Sit on it and just relax. Parking was not good. Barely could put 2 cars in driveway. And right next to road and on a curve. Cars from road where too close to our cars coming by. No where for the kids to play outside. Steep hill you couldn't go down without tumbling down. It would be nice if only a single couple went to stay there. Pool was nice but about 2 miles down the road. Lake was 2 miles away also. Couldn't swim in it though. We would go back but not with kids. People who rented it out seemed so nice. Very helpful when we needed her.

From the owner: "Thank You for taking the time to leave us your review and we are so happy you liked our cabin. While our property is located on the outside perimeter of Douglas Lake Resort. It is only a 2min (0.8 mi) drive via Windfall Estates Dr to the pool and playground. The photos do show the cabins to be on the hillside- our cabin is nestled on the edge of the woods and full of nature- there’s a great chance you’ll hear or see wildlife while you’re here. Our resort has 127 + properties and most do not have yard space/play area however; our resort does have an outdoor playground for all guests to enjoy. Also, parking is limited at most locations in this area and the majority are roadside parking only so we feel blessed to offer our guests ample space for two vehicles to fit comfortably. Our resort also offers boat/jet ski and trailer parking at no additional fee. For your safety there is no swimming near the boating areas- but there is a swimming beach. It is about 30 min drive from the cabins. Not too far if you plan to spend a day swimming, playing or relaxing on the beach."
