Anniversary Trip

We enjoyed a few days away for our 15th anniversary. The cabin was so nice, especially the double sided fireplace in the bedroom. We had some cooler weather, so the fireplace and hot tub were so nice! Thanks for a great stay!

We had a lovely time at the cabin. It was just as described. Very clean and comfortable. On a side note, would recommend Mama’s Farmhouse for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

The host were wonderful. Very quick responses and full communication!

The cabin itself is very inviting and comfortable. We took our jeep, but a car would make it as long as it isn't snowy/icy when you go. It is a pretty steep driveway but if that's not already expected when you book a cabin in the mountains...well good luck haha. The bathroom is amazing and the size is very nice. Master bedroom is good size to! We have 0 complaints about our stay. Bathroom shower stuff is all you really need to bring with you, everything else is provided and will last you at least a week!

We had no issues with it being close to other cabins - once you get down there you will see it really isn't too close compared to other cabin locations. None of the windows face where anyone could directly see in from their cabin. (There's 1 cabin above within eye sight) It's a perfect getaway spot, and definitely a nicer more modern cabin.

Saw some people talking about the tv's (3) - I think they were perfect for the cabin, and they have direct TV hooked up. Great for an hour or so of tv before bed or in the morning. If you're going to be spending the whole day watching tv why even get the cabin? The best entertainment is outside.

If you're going to Cades cove - go early (as soon as the sun rises) to beat traffic.

Overall I would 10/10 return to this cabin for a future vacation. Great value for money and its worth every cent.

Nice Stay with some issues

The cabin was very nice and my wife and I enjoyed it very much to celebrate our 24th wedding anniversary. However, there were only a few minor complaints. Some of the dishes were not clean and I feel the owners should replace the current pots and pans as they are all scratched up which are not good for people to use. The barstools that were provided to sit on (the only place you could sit and eat) were hard and if you are prone to a bad back these were very uncomfortable. Finally, the spa tub was not really working well.

This is nothing that the owners can help but be careful driving up the road to the cabin it is very bumpy and filled with holes and is only one lane so if you are coming or going and someone is doing the same one of you will have to back up.

On the positive side: The shower was great, the hot tub was wonderful, the bed was comfortable, and the view was pretty good.
