4/5 We had a good stay overall, but with mixed results. Communication was frustrating; the host ignored VRBO messages and twice emailed me the September gate code for my November stay. When I emailed to verify the code, I received a four-digit reply with no confirmation. The lack of concern for ensuring guests can access the property is troubling.Inside, there were plenty of positives. The bedding was clean with extra pillows, and we had plenty of towels. We appreciated the starter supplies (soaps, detergents) and having a washer/dryer. There were also lots of hangers for our swimsuits, which was perfect for the hot tub. The hot tub was eventually wonderful, but it was left in sleep mode (and Celsius). I had to find the manual online to fix the settings, but after that, it was great.However, there are maintenance quirks. The cleaners missed a spill in the fridge/freezer, and there was barely enough toilet paper. Most drawers fall out if pulled too far, the downstairs tub drains slowly, and the comfortable master bed is super noisy. We also missed extra blankets—there were only thin quilts on the beds and nothing to snuggle with in the living room. The fireplace timer also didn't work.Finally, the upstairs bathroom window has no covering. It's high enough to hide the 'naughty bits,' but it's weird that neighbors can look right in. Despite some basics not being handled well, we had a great time and would stay here again.

3/5 Host got upset when we called him to get the correct gate code, fridge went out during our visit we kept sopping up the water to protect the cabin. Fridge needed cleaned. Furnace filter in upstairs bedroom needed replaced. And dryer took 3 rounds to get clothes dry. They weren’t even large loads
