Camp Runamuk had everything we needed for our family vacation! Great location and set-up for kids, and the views were perfect. We would definitely stay here again!

Overall, this is a fine property as reflected in the pictures. Wonderful sun room overlooking the mountain view, fun fire pit area (with that same mountain view) and good space for family fun. I was disappointed to not have the fireplace setup to be wood burning. The downstairs king mattress was uncomfortable (for us at least). The stairs leading to the loft/upstairs bedroom are incredibly narrow, making it difficult (and ill advised for older people or thise without climbing ability) to go up and down. I still recommend the property for all its character and overall positive attributes.

From the owner: "Hi Jason, thank you for recommending our property and for highlighting what you enjoyed, like the wonderful sun room and our fire pit area with those great mountain views! Your feedback is invaluable to us.
- We appreciate your note on the fireplace. It is set up for electric use to ensure ease of operation and to avoid any fire hazards, ensuring a safer environment for all our guests. We understand the appeal of a wood-burning fireplace, however, we currently prioritize safety and convenience.
- We're pleased to inform you that following your feedback about the king mattress, we have installed a new mattress to ensure a more comfortable sleep for our future guests.
Thanks again for your valuable feedback, which helps us enhance the stay for all our guests. We hope to host you again soon!"
Perfectly appointed cabin with everything we needed for a comfortable stay over Christmas. The views from the sunroom and fire pit are lovely. Kitchen was well-stocked with needed appliances and utensils, to include a crockpot, Keurig, and coffee maker.
Overall this cabin was great. The view was amazing with beautiful sunrises visible from the fire pit, side deck, and sun room. The cabin is secluded from neighboring cabins at a dead end road but there is some road noise from the traffic going to a cabin resort complex down the side of the hill - not bad though. The cabin is old and has been updated. The floors throughout and kitchen cabinets and counters look new. I will say though the floors and steps are very creaky. It was difficult to get up early without waking the rest of my family. The beds were just okay. Our kids liked the built in bunks and the tent bed. The pool table is not full size and not in great shape. The arcade game is older and loud. Bathrooms are small but fine. The hot tub is on the smaller side. The decorations were cute and tasteful. There were some noticeable cob webs on some of the lights in the sun room and book shelves, but the floors, kitchen, and bathrooms were very clean. Lighting was good inside and outside. Cute string lights in the sun room and on the A-frame side of the deck where the table and hot tub are. We were busy most days so some of the negatives didn’t matter to us. And the cob webs didn’t bother us either because this cabin has character. We would stay here again.

This was the second time my husband and I have stayed at this cabin. This cabin comes with a stocked kitchen! It truly feels like home away from home. It’s secluded enough to feel like you’re far off in the mountains but just 5-10 minutes away from all activities the city has to offer. It has a spacious yard for our dog to run around as well. The perfect cabin for a small or large family in my opinion. You won’t be disappointed! We plan to make this a yearly vacation spot, that’s how much we enjoyed our stay both times!
