Pros: Property was in a secluded area, very peaceful and quiet. Yard and outdoor deck were nice. Kitchen was spacious and had what we needed to cook comfortably. Living room area was also spacious and cozy. Plenty of towels, linens and toiletries. All appliances worked.
Cons: as soon as you walk in, you know it’s pet friendly. The smell of wet dog was continuous throughout our stay, especially when the air kicked in. The couch was also covered in pet hair and we had to keep using a lint roller to clean up. This was also an issue with our son, who has allergies and asthma. We also saw at least 3 mice in the kitchen, one in a drawer that had utensils. Being that we are from the country ourselves, we understand field mice can be an issue, but it’s still not something you want to see. Overall it looked clean, but didn’t feel clean because of that. Again…. Obvious this home is pet friendly. The beds were small and the one my husband and I slept on was very small and noisy. So none of us really got sleep. I tried sleeping on the couch the last night to try to sleep but there was loud wooden chimes hung on porch that kept me up all night.
If owners would address the animal smell/hair and get better beds, this would be a 9 out of 10.

Owner's response: Monica, We are glad that you mentioned that the property was peaceful and quiet. Also, you had everything you needed in the kitchen and you enjoyed your stay. We were confused by your low review and the cons you shared.
- We do not have an issue with pet odors or pet hair, as a dog owner you had your dog with you and that could have been the issue with the pet hair. Our cleaners do a very good job and ensure that the property is clean and sanitized before each new guest arrives. We take great care and pride in presenting a clean home.
- Regarding we are proactive but when you live in the country there are things that you can't help like a mouse now and then. However, we do not have an issue and we try to be very diligent to be sure they do not become a problem.
- We know that you had more people than the recommended maximum because you slept on the floor with makeshift beds. But we have decided to reconfigure the rooms and put in queen-size beds for our guest's convenience. We may have to get rid of a few lamps but we want our guests to be comfortable. As long as our future guests know that we expect them to follow the rules and only have room for 5 people and not 12 plus a dog.
We are confident that future guests will have excellent stays! We continue to strive for the 5-star experiences we know we can deliver.
I recently stayed at this house and it's exactly as described in the listing...
The house itself is beautiful with a lovely fenced in yard that is ideal for families with fur babies.
However, I must say my experience with evolve the property management company. It is horrible. They overcharge for their so called services which did not add value to my stay.
Also I want to mention I was dismayed to find out that previous
Tenants, we're very disrespectful, and defecated on the bathroom carpet right next to the toilet, Also, some tenants were very lazy in regards to picking up after their fur babies.
It's nice to show respect and think about the others that will come in and use the yard..
The only thing I would change. As mentioned before is the property management EVOLVE They are ripping people off & absolutely providing no service for the money that they charge
So, I wil give this 4 stars because of that. Otherwise , I highly recommend that you stay in this beautiful home.
