  With that being said I DID reach out to them. Their communication was extremely poor. I emailed them with a few questions before my stay no response. I tried calling, nobody answered. Hours later I finally got a text, asked my question there… and again, no reply. It made me wonder what would’ve happened if I actually needed help during my stay. You just can’t rely on them to pick up the phone or respond when you need them.

  On top of that, the cabin had a few issues. Only two outlets worked by the bed, which was inconvenient, and the bathroom door in the master bedroom wouldn’t stay shut.

  Overall, the place itself had potential, but the lack of communication and basic maintenance issues really brought the experience down. But on a plus it does have an amazing view and the hot tub was very nice!

  We had an amazing and relaxing stay. We loved the mountainside view. We spent every night in the hot tub. It would have been a better view from the hot tub if the bush next to the stairs was trimmed. Very clean. The initial drive up the mountain was scary, but we got used to it. Roads seem very steep when you are coming from somewhere with mainly flat roads. Soo worth it though. Communication with the host was terrible. We messaged 2 times with easy questions and still have not gotten a response. However, we would definitely stay again.

• Nice location but…

  Overall, this stay was nice- it’s in a beautiful location however if you are planning to go to Gatlinburg every day, the drive out does get a little long. Ensure you put the correct address in to get to the cabin, Apple Maps is not updated and will not take you to the right address- instead you may end up on the other side of the mountain. Google maps is the only one that showed the correct address. A couple things to be mindful of, this cabin does have mice. Our friendly unwanted visitors left us a present on the counter multiple times. Overall the cabin is in a beautiful location and the hot tub/ jacuzzi made it worth it.
