This cabin has beautiful sunrise views over the Smokies. The owner contacted us ahead of time to let us know a previous renter had broken the glass door. I’m glad we were warned bc this would have been startling. We experienced 70-20 degrees in 4 days. We had difficulties with both the AC and the fireplace as well as the outdoor fire pit. Written instructions would be really helpful to have. I contacted the owner who responded promptly but we never could get any of those things working. The most important amenity for my husband and kids was the hot tub! We found it to be clean and plenty warm with gorgeous views. We were a family of 6 and there were 8 towels provided. Bring extra if you have a large group and plan to use the hot tub. Owner provided a roll of paper towels, multiple trash bags, 4 rolls of TP, a small amount of laundry soap and dish soap, as well as shampoo & conditioner. I recommend bringing a dish cloth or sponge and foil or plastic wrap if you plan to do much cooking. Dishes and mugs are plentiful. The listing does say you should have 4WD or AWD. We have an AWD minivan that handled roads just fine but we scraped bottom at the base of the driveway each time due to the right side being washed out- you have to approach it from a weird angle so beware if your vehicle has a low profile. We would stay here again. One last “tip”- if you like the broom hanging next to the fireplace DO make a stop at the “Broom Shop” on the way- they start at only 40

Well appointed, cozy cabin with amazing views!
Truly enjoyed our stay. Saw bears almost daily. Cabin was clean and well stocked. Construction next door is almost complete and was not a bother to us. Will be back!
