Very comfortable and met all our needs. It is a more remote location which we enjoyed!

All the necessary kitchen equipment was provided which was great as we prepared several meals on site. Very nice surroundings!

We enjoyed our stay overall. The location was close to the West side of Gatlinburg and the National Park. We drove right by the Sky Lift bridge on the way to the condo, and could see the Ober Tramway from the porch. The area was quiet, although the unit above us was very noisy. We saw a bear right off the porch a few times during our stay. The main complaint I have is the linens. The listing says linens provided, but that is not totally accurate. There was nothing provided for the sleeper sofa and the queen bed had only a sheet and one thin blanket that was too small for the bed. No bedspread or comforter was there. This was an issue for guests before, as the guest book had this frequently mentioned about the need for more bedding. There were 6 of us staying and only 3 washcloths were in the unit. There were multiple extra pillows, but no pillowcases. It needs a good deep cleaning with dusting, cleaning corners and fixtures, but other than that it was clean and a pleasant stay.

The location of the property was great. It was a quiet area and we saw a few bears from the porch. We drove by the Sky Bridge and could see the Ober tramway from the porch. No major issues with cleanliness, but it could use a good, deep cleaning. The fixtures were all very dusty and the porch needs cleaning. It looked like someone emptied a vacuum cleaner on it when we arrived (dust and hair piles) and then it was very sticky from someone above us emptying a cooler onto the deck on morning. The only issue we had was the lack of adequate linens. There were 6 of us staying, and only 3 washcloths were provided in the unit. Also, no linens were provided for the sleeper sofa and the front bedroom only had a sheet and a thin blanket that is too small for the bed. There were multiple extra pillows in closets, but no pillow cases were provided. Overall, it’s a nice unit, but be prepared to bring your own bedding and towels.

  • Needs some TLC

It was a quite dirty; toothpaste in the sink from the previous renter, disgusting soap scum in the shower, the corners of the floor were filled with buildup, coffee grounds were left in the coffee pot, etc. About half of the lights didn’t have working lightbulbs, and there was only one little blanket on each bed.

    Manager's Response:

Hi James, we want our guests to arrive at a vacation home that is 100% ready for their stay, so we take the cleanliness of our properties seriously! We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following:
    - We strive to provide our guests with a great guest experience, so we were disappointed to hear your feedback and want to take a moment to address your concerns.
    - After hearing your feedback we followed up with our cleaning service to ensure future guests do not share the same experience. In addition, the comforters are quality comforters but are slightly thinner to ensure they can be cleaned and ready for the next incoming guests.
    - We followed up with our maintenance team and have replaced all light bulbs, We're truly sorry this happened during your stay.
Thanks for letting us know about your stay!

    Manager's Response:

Hi Angela, we’re so glad you enjoyed the patio and wildlife, but we’re sorry other aspects fell short of expectations. After sending your feedback to the owner, they’d like to share the following:
    - We sincerely apologize for the critters you encountered. The home is in a wooded mountain area, so pests can be prevalent during this time of year. We have completed a thorough cleaning of the property and will continue to maintain regular pest control treatments moving forward
    - We wish you had reached out to the Guest Contact during your stay so we could have provided more blankets and addressed any issues. We would have done everything we could to resolve them immediately so that you could enjoy your stay
Thanks for your valuable feedback as we continue to improve for future guests!
