Overall a great space for a family vacation. We had 7 adults(kids are grown). They docked onto the large screen TV to play games, also great for movie night. Great WI-FI reception. Kids enjoyed the card table downstairs. Pretty buggy at night, but they have a great screened in porch we utilized frequently. Plenty of coffee, detergent, cookware. Definitely a lot to do in the area.
Few downfalls. We put our garbage in bags ever night as instructed, but every night raccoons got in the garbage and made a mess in the driveway which led to a lot of flies, many found their way in the house. The garbage collector acknowledged the issue and said they are working on a solution. The hot tub was never operational. Umbrella on upper deck did not work, gas grill was not available (in garage). When we arrived all the bath towels in the home felt damp. Backsliding glass door did not lock. Kayaks were down by the water very dirty. Would have been nice if they were clean and up by the house.
We did contact the owner was told someone would be out, never happened.
Don’t get me wrong our family enjoyed our time together, but when you invest $5,000.00 on a week vacation rental there are certain expectations.
Hi Ron, thanks for taking the time to review your stay. After reading your feedback, the homeowner wanted to share the following:
- We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused by the trash situation during your stay. We've since corrected this issue by constructing a cabinet around the trash cans, which will help prevent any future encounters with raccoons.
- Regarding the other issues you mentioned, we're committed to resolving them as well. We'll talk with our maintenance team to ensure that all your concerns are thoroughly addressed.
Thank you once again for sharing your thoughts with us. Your feedback is invaluable, and it enables us to make necessary improvements to enhance the overall guest experience.
The home was large enough for my family of 11. The game room was enjoyed by both young and old, as well as the hot tub. Correspondence with the owners was easy and informative. We appreciate the opportunity to rent this property!

Words cannot express how beautiful this home is. I was pleasantly shocked that the listing was so accurate. The wrap around deck is to die for. The patio furniture is so nice. The view is beautiful and so peaceful. The kitchen comes fully stocked with literally everything you need. The laundry room is every woman's dream. The jacuzzi tub in the master bath was so relaxing. The decor was so beautiful. The den downstairs was a huge hit with the grown kids. They loved the pool table, the card table, the big screen tv. The comfy sectional was awesome! The hot tub was so nice! The downstairs screened in patio with the hanging lights was beautiful. There are big screen smart tvs throughout! I just cant describe how much we fell in love with the home. So a few things I think it could use....a chair for the master bedroom. A couple more kayaks because we had to take turns using them. With that being said my family loveddddd the kayaking. Some bigger bowls in the kitchen for cereal. So as you can see those are just a few little things I personally would like. But those things would never keep me from staying here again! I would recommend bringing bug spray. The mosquitos are awful but that's to be expected by water. If you wanna go swimming Paris Landing is about a 30 minute drive away and it's free public swimming at the Cumberland River and has a nice roped off spot that isn't too deep. Thank you for such a wonderful stay!

We loved this property and all the amenities it had to offer. It offered a gorgeous lake view from the deck. The property was well stocked. My only issue was that the kitchen sink kept clogging...no garbage disposal, so it would just remain clogged for up to several hours before it would all drain.Other then that....it was a joy!!!
