Cabin was beautiful. Owner really nice. Really enjoyed our weekend getaway. Everything was very clean.
From the owner: "Thank you for the 5-star review, it was a pleasure hosting you, we hope to see you again!"
Very clean. Bed was comfortable. Quiet! Perfect for couples get away.
I rented this cabin for our honeymoon and we absolutely loved it. The cabin was elegant, clean, well-maintained, and nicely stocked with coffee, tea, a few bottles of water, and a few sodas. The property was quiet, peaceful, and very relaxing. I would highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a secluded getaway that is conveniently located minutes away from Cookeville TN. After speaking with the owner on-site and learning of the history of Hidden Hollow and the plans for it for the future added to the quaintness of the property.
The cabin is the cutest, cleanest place we've ever stayed. The pictures are very accurate. If you're looking for a quiet place, this is it. We were celebrating our 42nd anniversary that almost didn't happen due to a health scare earlier this year. When we were dating, we always went to a local Putt Putt course. That's what clinched this rental location.
Pictures can be deceiving, however. The location is really run down. The owner did state that they are working on new projects and they do in fact, have a beautiful wedding chapel onsite. The putt, putt, lakes with boats and fishing does need a lot of work as does all the the buildings onsite. I commend the owners for their work thus far and know that they are not the original owners. It's about a 15 minutes drive out of town so if you are looking for quiet, this is it.
We enjoyed walking around the hidden Hollow grounds. There was a lot to see. It was slightly unkempt but it was fun to see all the works of art around such as 15 foot rocks standing on end and metal yard art. we enjoyed the 9 hole put-put golf. The old water wheel mill house is immaculate inside. A very cozy place to be. Nice walk in shower. We would book this place again.
