  • Great rental!

Very roomy! We had plenty of space! Lots of things to do to at the house and so close to every attraction

  • Perfect for larger gatherings!

    5/5

This was the perfect spot for our family of 16! There is so much room whether you want to all be together or find a spot to be by yourself. We had a few issues that were taken care of immediately by Ronni. She is so nice and helpful. The ranch house and bunkhouse were both so cozy and inviting! We loved it here and the location is perfect for doing everything in the southern Hills! Sadly, it rained most of the time we were there, so we didn’t get to enjoy the outdoor area as much as we would have liked. We highly recommend staying at The Ranch!

  • Quiet with space for everyone

    5/5

We very much enjoyed our stay at the ranch. Our group included two grandparents (us), our four children, three spouses, and 8 grandchildren for a total of 17! There was plenty of room for sleeping between the cabin and the bunkhouse. Both buildings were stocked with blankets, pillows, and such. We ate nearly all our meals at the ranch and the two large tables plus two picnic tables were more than adequate. There was two fridges and a small dorm type fridge so plenty of space for food and beverages. Both buildings are air conditioned so that was a plus as the temperature hit 100 degrees a couple days. The best part of the ranch was that our grandkids had plenty of space to play and run. There was a volleyball net set up as well as a bags (cornhole) game ready for us when we arrived. The grandkids spent a lot of time down at the small creek that runs through the property wading and playing in the water and swinging in a swing that hung from tree next to the creek. There is also a large slide from a deck off the second floor of the cabin, but it turned out to be a little too fast for our young grandkids.I would remind everyone that the ranch is in the country, 7 miles from Keystone and about 10 miles from Hermosa. It is rural, away from the stores, restaurants, tourist attractions which is a plus for our family but may make some people feel isolated. It is also next to a cattle ranch (you have to cross a small pasture owned by a neighbor to get to the property). The pasture has cattle guards you will drive across so no gates have to be opened or shut. Our grandkids enjoyed watching the cows walk back and forth, grazing in the pasture.I would highly recommend this property, especially if you have a large group and don't mind a rural, somewhat rustic setting.

  • Perfect spot

    4/5

Was a beautiful area with deer, turkeys, and a bull! Plenty of space for kids to run around, volleyball net up, old fashioned swing, small creek. Wonderful!

Halway between Hermosa and Keystone! Rustic themed! Can tell owner is putting lots of work and love into! We needed a few more outlets and big house possibly a bigger hot water heater. Would love instructions on TVs but we slowly figured out(didn't really need a lot- just for Olympics)

    Thank you

I loved the setup! So unique!
