The location just cant be beat. The owners have made some upgrades since our last stay which are really nice.
Kitchen, dining room, living room, bedroom and bathroom are on lower level. 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with another living room on upper level.
It accommodated us very well.

The house was so clean and the lay out was perfect! We had 3 family’s staying including 2 children and we felt we all had plenty of room! Only about 2 miles from Hill City and 15 minutes from Mount Rushmore! It is secluded and quiet and there was plenty of room for the kids to play in the yard! It was a beautiful home that we highly recommended renting! And we will definitely be back again!!

From the owner: "Lorri, thank you for choosing our getaway retreat. We hope to host you again."
The location of this home is just beautiful. Our weather was chilly in May but the fire places kept us warm. I loved sitting outside under the gazebos. Outdoor seating had comfortable cushions that were well kept in the deck boxes in the garage. The garage is oversized which made it so nice for loading and unloading. We were surprised by the foosball table in the garage. Everyone enjoyed a round of foosball. Additionally, there is a second refrigerator in the garage that we used for drinks. It is was so nice having that extra refrigerator. There are a lot of steps up or down into different rooms/areas; so those with mobility issues should be careful. We didn’t have any problems with our group. The water is high in iron; if you have sensitive skin be sure to bring lotion. I think hard water is common for this area but is a small price to pay for experiencing the Black Hills. We had a wonderful time! If you love the 1880 Train, then this is the place you want to stay.
From the owner: "Suzanna Pederson, thank you for staying with us. We hope to host you again."
