  We enjoyed our stay immensely. The cabin was clean, and very comfortable. When we arrived, we found the cabin to be exactly what we expected. It was quaint, and we enjoyed the views of the woods from both porches. We will definitely be back!

  Booked for 6nights & stayed 5. We picked based upon pictures & location. property was not as it appeared in pictures & actually needed some serious cleaning and repairs. The carpet is loose & bunched up in 2 of the bedrooms so much so that it’s a trip hazard & floors uneven & squeak badly. 2 ceiling fans had loose blades we had to tighten. The air vent was filthy & the actual filter was dark like it hadn’t been changed in months The showerhead in the spare bathroom was loose away from the wall We couldn’t drink coffee from coffee maker because a mildew taste/smell that would not come out no matter how many times we washed it. Kitchen definitely is bare bones only salt and pepper in the kitchen. If planning on doing any cooking you would have to shop for absolutely everything. There were no spices or oil etc. There were some knobs missing on cabinets and some trim off edge of tile off the tile counter. check in info was not sent so ended up having to reach out to them when we got to the property since they hadn’t provided the check- in code information. Upon checking in, there was leftover make up on the floor from the prior guest in master bedroom & one a pillowcases not clean, when noticed there was dusting & other cleanliness issues like the air filter, we sent pics to the contact and she changed the filter and pillowcase but nothing else addressed. Evolve not very helpful to resolve, provided a 79.00 credit & said condition was standard. Beware!

We're sorry to hear that your stay didn't meet expectations. We followed up with the homeowners after reading your feedback, and they wanted to clarify the following:
  - Our property is accurately depicted in the professional listing photos. While porch furniture may sometimes be rearranged by guests, and cushions are stored indoors for protection, these can be adjusted to your liking.
  - The carpets in the bedrooms have some rippling, but neither we nor previous guests have identified this as a trip hazard. However, we were already scheduled to replace them this month, and this update will proceed as planned.
  - Wooden floors in a log home, like this one, can naturally squeak due to changes in temperature and humidity.
  - Our cleaners confirmed that the ceiling fan blades were secure before your arrival, but we appreciate you bringing this to our attention.
  - Although we replaced the air filter the month before your stay, we promptly changed it again and cleaned the vent cover as soon as you notified us.
  - The showerhead itself was secure, but we noticed that the cover plate had loosened slightly from the wall, which has now been fixed.
  - The coffee maker is thoroughly cleaned between stays, and we’ve never received complaints of mildew. However, we’ve replaced the stainless steel coffee maker with a glass one so that future guests can visibly confirm its cleanliness.
  - We provide basic condiments including coffee, creamer, sugar, sweetener, salt, and pepper and we're updating our listing to make this clearer for future visitors.
  - One knob was temporarily moved from a nearby fake panel to replace a missing drawer knob. Both have since been properly replaced, and the missing trim in the kitchen is scheduled for repair.
  - When our cleaner came to address the pillowcase and air filter, she asked if any other issues needed attention. Since we didn’t hear about any additional concerns during your stay, we missed the opportunity to resolve them while you were still here. If we had known, we would've done everything possible to address these issues immediately.
  - We checked our communication records and found that the check-in instructions were sent to you via email on July 11th, which advised you to reach out to our guest contact before your scheduled arrival to obtain the keyless entry code.
  - As a gesture of hospitality, we provided an industry-standard refund for the inconvenience you experienced.
  We hope this clarifies the situation. The homeowners work diligently to maintain high standards, and we’re confident that future guests will continue to enjoy excellent stays.

  A well kept place, with an awesome cabin feel. Felt safe, and we were close to The Cliffs- which was our goal. We’ll be back! Thanks for the great stay!
