House was beautiful and as described in the listing. Communication was great, any issues or questions were addressed quickly. Really appreciated having the second fridge for our large group! We loved the large open space on the main level so all 10 of us could visit/cook/eat together without feeling cramped. The screened in deck was the perfect place for a morning coffee or breakfast! We brought our own golf cart which was VERY helpful with getting to and from the lake as it’s a bit of a hike. We also brought a folding table for the dock as there wasn’t anything to make sandwiches, etc on. The water was very calm as there was very little traffic so no wake, which made tying up our boat and jetskis easier. Would absolutely stay here again!

The house and property is great. With 6 adults and 6 children, there was enough space for everyone. The property is located on a quiet cove with a large enough dock for parking our rented 24' pontoon boat. All of us enjoyed swimming and floating on rafts in the cove. A big plus for us was we rented the pontoon boat from a business only about 4 miles away by driving and maybe 2 miles on the lake. In addition, it's only about 7 miles from a marina where we filled up with gas twice. This is a HUGE plus if guests will be renting a boat. There is a fairly large bay where we tubed and wake-boarded at the end of the cove only a couple of hundred yards from the dock, which was not crowded at all on the weekend and almost no other boats during the week.
The adults really enjoyed the spacious screened-in porch where we got to spend some quiet time in the evenings as well as playing guitars. The house is well stocked with all of the kitchen utensils and pots and pans, etc. we needed. There is a nice gas grill on the lower-level patio.
The kids all slept in the "bunk room" and enjoyed playing their video games and board games in the lower-level room.
One thing that we haven't always experience at rental properties is everything worked! Great laundry room, two large refrigerators (one on the main level and another on the lower level) in which we were able to store all of our food for the week and which produced enough ice for all of us. The AC kept all of the rooms at a comfortable.
We will certainly try to rent this house again when we return to Lake Hartwell.
