• I hope you dont have a bad back!!!

  We stayed at the property from 4/2 - 4/7. Property is nice and on ground floor - pool is right outside back porch.

  Issues -

  Mattress - horrible - my wife and I literally sunk in the middle!! we are not large people either. I ended up sleeping on the couch and my wife could barely tolerate the bed being alone in there - nice way to spend our vacation.

  also, I have stayed in a lot of airbnb's in my time - been doing it for over 20 years.

  I have never seen such a property with as little essentials in it - Like 1 small frying pan, two small pots - maybe four dishes - minimum glasses , etc.....

  no spices or garbage bags, no alum foil or things like that. i think 1 roll of toilet tissue and 1 roll of towels............

  also could have been cleaner - when I walked around with my white socks on they were black on bottom

  Hi Patrick, we want our guests to rest easy when they stay with us, and we apologize you experienced some issues during your trip. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following:
  - We're disappointed to hear your stay didn't fully meet your expectations and want to take a moment to address your concerns.
  - Mattress taste is subjective, and we have never received any complaints about this in the past. We have since had the bed checked for any issues or damages and it was reported that the bed was fine, but as owners we will further investigate.
  - As is standard in the vacation rental industry, we provide a starter amount of toiletries and other essentials, and once that amount is out, it's typical for the guest to purchase more supplies. We provide a pan set that includes one large and one small pan, however, we will further look into your concern.
  - We use a cleaning service to have the home professionally cleaned before each guest stay, and wish you had reached out during your stay. We would have promptly responded and been more than happy to address your concerns. The home has tile flooring throughout, which can get dirty with increased foot traffic, however, we will follow up with our cleaning service to ensure future guests do not share the same experience.
  We do all we can to make the best possible stay, and we look forward to this property hosting many satisfied guests.

• Just what we needed

  My husband and I were looking for a quick getaway. We booked this condo and was very happy we did! It was comfortable and tastfully decorated state of the art! Centrally located and very close to the beach, restaurants and other local attractions.

  We are definitely looking forward to returning!

  The unit was recently renovated and very clean. Construction on the building, as we were informed upon booking, but it did not interfere with our stay.

  This was he first time we stayed at this resort. My wife and I want to thank the owners ( Rogers) for letting us stay in this condo. We truly enjoyed the cleanliness of the condo along with the proximity to restaurants, mall, and a host of other things. The grounds are neatly kept and no noise which I personally enjoyed. We came to relax and that we we did. The screened in porch was a plus as it added more square footage in fact giving you that in door out door feel. I took pictures and showed them to other friends who now want to stay there. 1881 Colony drive unit 8C , was an excellent stay. We will come again , definitely.
