Cozy place

Mouse and musty
2/5 This condo was nothing extra special. It's in a beautiful area but the pictures of the condo in the listing made it look bigger and better than it was. Upon opening the door to the condo, we were met with a musty odour. When we were preparing to make food we found mouse feces in the oven drawer and lower cupboards!
Considering how much we paid for the rental, I expected a much better rental.
Also, when placing the reservation, it wasn't stated clearly on the website that the cost was in USD. Imagine my surprise when the charges to my card were 30% more than I expected. I'd caution anyone considering a VRBO rental to be aware that if you are coming from outside the USA, that it will be EXPENSIVE!

We are glad you chose the home and we are sorry your stay was not what you expected. We have never experienced problems with bad odors and our cleaning team did not report anything unusual during their cleaning before your stay. We use local, professional photographers to make sure that the listing photos correctly reflect the property, so the features you see on the listing are accurately advertised. We have ongoing pest control that manages and protects the home from these issues. We have not found any evidence of mice before or after your stay. We can not control the conversion rate and advise any guests to check the amount before booking so they are not caught off guard.
