So cute and convenient!
5/5 We were so happy to find this pup friendly accommodation that’s close to the MCRD where my brother and his family is stationed at. We loved it here and it was so convenient, the backyard was the best and so cute. We will definitely be back here!

5/5 Charming Port Royal home was perfect for the family and our dog. The home was updated with all the amenities and a wonderful back yard for our dog. We enjoyed our stay very much and look forward to returning to this cottage!

Vacation
4/5 Cute little house. Could have been cleaner as the counter in the kitchen was sticky and I had to wash pots before use. Could not use the outside table as the cushions were wet and really dirty. All in all though we had a nice time

A Happy Time At the Happy Cottage
4/5 We enjoyed our stay at The Happy Cottage. It was close to the activities we came to Port Royal to do. It is dog friendly with a great little fenced backyard and cute little fire pit. The bed in the primary bedroom was comfortable with lots of pillows. The kitchen was a bit of a challenge...very small, no dishwasher or garbage disposal so dishes have to be done by hand. If you eat out a lot or aren't staying long, then it's no big deal but we don't eat out much and stayed the week, so it was slightly annoying to have to do dishes and it wasn't as well equipped as I'd hoped (more big bowls needed) but we made it work and would not be a deal breaker to rent there again, though more dish soap provided would have been helpful because we had to go by some...there wasn't any. It could use a bigger coffer maker also...a two cup pot just doesn't cut it. There are also some minor deferred maintenance issues: the vent in the bathroom is filthy, the door handle to the 2nd bedroom was loose, the can opener in the kitchen doesn't work, the sink stopper in the bathroom doesn't work. None of those things are a big deal...just sharing so they can be repaired.
