5/5 Nice quiet, secluded getaway close to the mountains, state parks, and hiking. The location was ideal as a halfway point between outdoors activities and "civilization". My wife and I spent most of our time out and about with our 10lb dog...2 days of nature and 2 in the city and towns nearby. We prepared and cooked most of our meals at the house. The kitchen had most everything we needed. We did bring our mini Keurig and a new camping (propane) grill (we grill a lot). R4hi

Perfect for family and pets
5/5 Our family stayed here for a short little vacation and had a blast. The house looks just like the pictures and the fenced in area of the yard was great for the dogs. There is also a doggy door, which I didn’t realize when booking but we loved having it. Its just a short drive to devils fork state park. We rented a pontoon for a day ao the whole family could be on the lake together. We also took a john boat with us and had no trouble parking at the house. The drive way if definitely a little hill but anyone who has experience pulling a boat before shouldn't have a problem. The market at the mill is also just down the road about 8 minutes so if you a like a flea market its a great place to go. We also had oizza delivered from Main Street pizzaria and it was great. Walmart will also delivere groceries to the house. Overall the house was just as expected and in a very convenient location. I would definitely rent again.

Great place for a family.
5/5 Everything was as described. We didnt need anything while we were there. We loved the fenced in yard and LOVED the fact they had kids plates and cups. Most places we stay only have glass plates and having a bunch of small kids, kids plates are important. Can't wait to go back.
