  This apartment is ideal for couples who are looking for a relaxing and for people who love views, beach, pool. Many restaurants around here just walking. The bed is very comfortable. Pictures are real. The host is a very nice lady, ready to help you out with anything you need. Thank you so Much Roseann.

• Fire the Cleaning company

  The property was as described, and the property manager was very communicative. However, the condition of the room was highly unacceptable. There were evident semen stains on the comforter, roaches in the kitchen, and dust and hair on the lamps and other furnishings. We went to Dollar General to purchase bleach, Lysol, and other cleaning products to sanitize the room, the bathroom, the kitchen, and the living room area.

  - We assure you that the condo was deep cleaned a week prior to your arrival and thoroughly sanitized.
  - The lampshades have a textured pattern that may have appeared dusty, but we can confirm they were not.
  - Unfortunately, the presence of bugs was due to recent pest control treatments in neighboring units, which is beyond our control. The bugs may have entered after the treatment and were found dead due to the chemicals. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused.
  - We always encourage our guests to reach out immediately with any concerns so we can address them promptly during their stay. We regret that we were not contacted during your stay.

  Was a nice condo facing the water. Definitely an older building and older condo. The property manager was fantastic and very sweet. Was nice and quiet.

• Nice little condo for a few day stay.

  We went down to Myrtle Beach for a wedding. It’s definitely not my go to beach but if I have to be at the beach, may as well be able to wake up and watch the ocean with a cup of coffee.

  The price of the condo was amazing for it being oceanfront. The reviews on the resort were not so great but I took a chance and glad I did.

  The condo was clean, well decorated, and getting in was super easy due to the communication with the representative. We had an awesome stay with zero issues!

• As advertised, we had a great experience

  Our host contact was excellent at providing us with all of the information we needed! The unit was as described. My wife is a clean freak and the unit passed her tough standards. The bed was comfortable. The view is absolutely amazing - we set on the balcony every night of our stay - we had a spectacular view of the fireworks show held at the pier one evening. The outdoor pool is well maintained and is an excellent place to relax - the beach in front of the Palms is clean and never felt crowded. The Palms is centrally located. We are in our mid-sixties and had no problem going to North Myrtle one day and to Murrells Inlet on another.

  People need to realize that the Palms Resort was built in 1984 and shows its age in places but none that impacted our stay. This unit was super nice, but the bathroom could use replacement hardware on the sink - my wife has arthritis in her hands and could not turn the hot water on. The towel holder and the toilet paper holder (a matched set) show rust around the edges but showed signs of being scrubbed clean. These are minor issues and did not distract from our stay.
