Great location for family base. In town for a wedding in Mt. Pleasant, this house was centrally located for all our needs.

  • Not a great experience

Layout was kinda cool. We Could spread out. Ample parking. House appeared to be clean however after a couple days we noticed issues like finding dead roaches in the kitchen. We could tell there must’ve been a rodent problem also given that there were traps in the garage. We could hear something knocking stuff over in the garage at night and perhaps under the house or in the walls. The final bad thing that occurred was one of our travelers broke out in a rash, and after diagnosis today we found that they were bitten by bedbugs. Sofa and chairs were comfortable. Dining room table was good size bathrooms were dated and toilet was loose in one of the bathrooms.

    Manager's Response:

David, thanks for your review! We're glad you enjoyed your stay at this house, but apologize you experienced some issues during your stay. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following:

    - As the home is located in South Carolina, palmetto or water bugs can be prevalent in the area and occasionally enter if doors are left open. We have ongoing pest control that manages and protects the home from these issues. A recent service was done 2 weeks prior to your arrival and we apologize this had an impact on your stay.

    - We are unaware of a rodent issue at our home as well as the traps in the garage. We will ask the exterminator to check for evidence of rodents or other pests and to handle this accordingly. Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

    - We are very sorry to hear you encountered bed bugs during your stay. We immediately had an exterminator out to the property once we were notified of the incident. We are actively working with you and Evolve to make this right and wish we would have been notified sooner.

    - We encourage guests to reach out to us while they are in residence with any issues so that we can address any concerns quickly for a most comfortable stay. We appreciate your feedback regarding the toilet and will look into getting this fixed.

Thank you again for providing such valuable feedback.

  • Magnolia

Magnolia worked out nicely for our group that was in town for the sailing regatta. Didnt seem that there was enough paper products or trash bags.
