Family Home w/ Fire Pit, 2 Mi to Lake Access

  I stayed here ahead of USC fall graduation with my husband, 2 sons, and my parents. There was plenty of space to be together but also have our own space and privacy. Everything we needed was truly in the kitchen. We've read that in other listings and then gotten there only to be disappointed - that was NOT the case here! They had everything we needed and more. Even the wine glasses were themed to the winter season. The beds were comfortable and everything was clean - exactly how it looks in the pictures. There were so many nice touches that made the house feel like home - decorations for the holiday, throw blankets, books, plenty of tvs, a dish of chocolates (my sons loved that!), and a really helpful welcome book. The house is close to plenty of things to do (we enjoyed shopping and dinner at Mellow Mushroom) and was less than a 30 minute ride to the University even during rush hour. I highly recommend you book this home if you need to stay in the area - you won't be disappointed!

• Very comfortable accommodations!

  We really enjoyed our first visit to Margie’s Place Very comfortable for our family and relatives to gather. Bedrooms provided plenty of room and comfort, kitchen was easy and clean with plenty of items for cooking and eating. The house was tastefully furnished and we especially appreciated the several places to sit for dialogue and games! We look forward to a return visit.

• Best cottage

  Margies place exceeding our expectations. The grounds are superbly kept and the house is clean and spacious. It’s bigger than we expected with rooms and quiet area. It was perfect for our family vacation and provided comfort and quiet during our family time together. Would recommend it to everyone.

• Attending family wedding

  This house worked out wonderfully for us. It was about 15 minutes from the wedding venue. The number of bedrooms was just right. The house was very clean and well stocked.
