• Dirty House Big Disappointment

  We were very disappointed with this house because it was very dirty and some parts of it were run down. When we arrived we were disappointed to see the walls in the kitchen and in the bathrooms had dead bugs all over them. The carpet was disgusting to walk on because it was so stained. On the dock, many of the boards were rotting out. The boards attached to the ladder into the water were rotted out and one of my guests got injured trying to get out of the lake because the ladder was not secure due to the rotting boards. Several of the screens had holes and rips in them so many bugs got into the house. Everything we used in the kitchen had to be washed before we could use it because everything was so dirty. There was food caked onto some of the pans and silverware, and everything just looked dirty. The house is not well maintained. Also, (this is not the fault of the owner) there was a stray dog that kept coming into the yard from the neighbor’s yard. I was not comfortable with that because of the children that were with us. Overall, we had a great time on the lake (we rented a boat), but our stay in the house was not good because it was so dirty and badly maintained.

  - They have a dedicated cleaning team and a quarterly pest control service in place. Since your stay, they’ve also had the carpets professionally cleaned and have addressed feedback with their cleaning crew to ensure the home is being maintained to the highest standards.
  - The homeowner has completely replaced the deck and repaired the dock since your visit. They also plan to repaint the entire interior and continue making updates to ensure the home is safe, functional, and welcoming for future guests.

  Very very clean and well appointed. Perfect location and the dock access was awesome. I was able to fish fir four days and had an amazing time. <br />

  This house was so clean and beautiful! We enjoyed looking out back to the lake everyday and the location was so quiet and private. Would certainly stay again!

  Wonderful views from deck, maybe 250 ft. of shoreline, very private, nice dock for fishing, extremely clean house. We went for long walks and sat on the porch for evening drinks. House is spacious and comfortable.

  Excellent stay - zero issues with the property - was able to tie up a 21 foot pontoon all week with zero problems. Would stay at this property again.
