We enjoyed staying in a condo so close to the beach. It was stylishly decorated in an updated beach theme. I liked that there were bunk beds in the hallway. My toddler slept comfortably in the bottom bunk and the ladder helped prevent him from falling out. I laid down in the bottom bunk and found it spacious enough (I’m 5’7” and a size small) and comfortable. I liked that there were doors that separated the main bedroom and family room from the hallway bunk area; it made it feel like a second bedroom. The kitchen had everything you might need to cook. The pullout couch was comfortable too. The amenities of the resort were wonderful! Security was on alert all hours of the day. The only downside would be not having a washer/dryer in the condo, but there is a communal one down the hallway.

Hi Tara, this homeowner has asked us to pass along the following response: "Thank you so much for sharing your great experience at the resort! We're so glad that our home provided what you needed during your stay. We specifically chose a unit with bunk beds for the exact reason you mentioned - kids seem to love them (even teens) and with the ladder placed for security, curtain to block out the light, and the door for privacy it is a hit! We appreciate customers like you and hope that you come back and visit soon!"

  • Terrible place. Unclean, falling apart, not real beds

    2/5

We stayed here and left early because it was such a bad experience. The listing says two twin bunk beds. THESE ARE NOT TWIN SIZED BEDS. The are about 2/3 the size of a regular twin. The “mattress” is 3 inches thick. Larger children cannot fit in these beds. Plus they are built into the wall so there is no extra space. My kids did not fit and my daughter pulled the mattress out and slept on the floor. My teenage son who is over 6 ft attempted to sleep on the pull out sofa but 1. We were unable to find the sheets and the guest contact did not respond until the morning. 2. The bed was not usable because of the giant metal bar across the middle. We pulled the other bunk bed mattress our and put it on top of the pull out sofa. Even if the bunks had been usable there was no way to make that space dark. The beds were in a hallway next to the front door and a sidelight with no window covering. The bedroom sheets were cheap, worn and no longer white. One of the pillows looked dirty. One of the quilts had what looked to be a blood stain. The pillows were extremely hard and flat. The microwave did not work. The hinge fell out of the bathroom door. It was an overall beat up and worn out space. The doors were covered in dirty fingerprints. The WiFi was spotty and InThe middle of the night the nest thermostat would not connect to WiFi so we were unable to change the temperature. I reached out to the guest contact multiple times. He responded only once, 8 hours later, with the location of the sheets and that the room had been cleaned. As soon as we could make other accommodations we left. I am still trying to get a refund on nights not stayed. There are better places to stay- keep looking!

    Manager's Response:

Hi Tracy, we always appreciate hearing from our guests, but the homeowner would like to clarify the following:
    - We do apologize that your family was uncomfortable with the bedding arrangement during your trip. We are clear in the listing that the bunk beds are built-ins, but have updated the descriptions to denote that they are "single" beds versus "twin" beds.
    - The extra sheets for the pullout are kept in the ottoman next to the couch and are glad that our guest contact was able to point you in the right direction.
    - While we've never experienced issues with the comfort of the pull-out, we've replaced this couch entirely to ensure that all future guests are as comfortable as possible when they stay with us.
    - There is a curtain that closes in the bunk beds to provide privacy and darkness and apologize if you were unaware of this.
    - The linen is laundered between each guest. The stain in the quilt was easily removed with one wash after your stay.
    - Pillow taste is subjective but we're sorry if the pillows in the home did not match your personal preferences.
    - We investigated the microwave immediately and found it to be working perfectly. It is on a roller cart and can sometimes become unplugged.
    - A small pin from the hinge became loose from the bathroom door, but in no way affected its performance. This has since been replaced.
    - We apologize for the issue with the wifi and were happy to hear that our maintenance personnel was able to assist you with this.
    - We performed a thorough walkthrough before your stay to ensure that everything was in working order and that the home met our high standards of cleanliness. There were no fingerprints on the door at this time.
We hope that the measures taken make up for the inconveniences you experienced and we look forward to this home hosting many satisfied guests!

Great stay. Clean and affordable. Easy access to the beach and pool. Family events events everyday. Only suggestions for condo is needed pot holders. Towels, you only get 6 towels, 3 rags, and 2 hand towels to start and have to wash your them yourself if you need clean ones later in the week ($3 to wash, $3 to dry).

Hi Ashley, the homeowners would like to share this response:
We are so glad that you enjoyed our beachfront condo and the resort! With a private condo rental, the cleaners provide one bath towel per the maximum number of people the unit sleeps, which in our case is six. We love feedback, so thank you for the input about potholders. We will definitely be bringing a set during our next visit. We hope you created lots of great memories and would love to have you come back again!
