Mill Cottage is an older home, complete with sloping floors, steep spiral staircase, weird angles, and other quirks. The interior is clean, fresh and IG ready. The backyard is fenced, has artificial grass, and a nice firepit with several Adirondack chairs. The back deck has a nice table with four chairs and some party lights (which we could not figure how to turn on).
The neighborhood is in transition, this is the nicest house on the block. There is a freight train track very close by, and when the train passes you can most definitely hear it!
Within walking distance to a cute indy coffee shop, bakery, and vintage clothing store. Otherwise, you'll need to drive to experience the other things Greenville has to offer.
The neighbor across the street said he maintains the yard, and brought us firewood he cut from a fallen tree across the street. Very nice man.
Myself, my husband, our toddler, and my parents had a wonderful stay here a few weeks ago! The house was exactly as described, very clean, and communicating with the hosts was fast and easy. We especially enjoyed the backyard with our child. And the location is great, close to downtown and everywhere we needed to go. Would definitely recommend, and we would stay here again!

Fire pit was a total win. It’s close enough to the city center (easy 12-minute drive) but far enough away to feel slightly more in the country. Occasional train sounds. No major barking dog issues. (Cute little doghouse in the gated back porch.) People who want time away from city bustle should consider this place.
