• Perfect spot in amazing location!

  First off, we loved the house, location, and amenities. The whole neighborhood was an historic mill village a long time ago, and it all felt so cozy. The updates throughout the house were done so well, and everything felt very clean. Honestly, there was not a single downside we could find! It's also close to everything, as it's right downtown.

  The check-in process was less-than-stellar. We didn't get the unlock code, so we had to chase after the agent overseeing the property with calls and texts. But they responded around 4:30, so that was just a blip in an otherwise perfect stay!

• Dangerous conditions

  THE HOUSE WAS NOT IN A GOOD AREA! WE SAT OUTSIDE THE HOUSE FOR OVER A HOUR AND HALF WAITING FOR A CODE TO GET IN. WHILE WE WERE WAITING WE WATCHED A MAN GET NARCAN FROM A DRUG OVER DOSE. AREA WAS INFESTED WITH HOMELESS AS WELL AS PROSTITUTES. CALLED THE CREDT CARD COMPANY DUE TO NOT HELP FROM VRBO AND STOPPED PAYMENT AND HAD TO FIND A HOTEL AT THE LAST MINUTE.

  Hi David, we’re sorry to hear that the experience wasn’t what you expected. After discussing your feedback with the homeowner, they wanted to share the following insights:
  -The homeowner has hosted numerous guests and long-term tenants over the past two years without any previous concerns regarding the neighborhood’s safety. Nor have they heard from any of their neighbors, many of which are long term residents, regarding safety concerns on the street.
  -The security cameras on the property didn’t capture any of the described activities during your brief time there. According to the footage, your group arrived around 4 PM and there is around 10 minutes of footage of the group on the front porch while they tried to obtain the code for entry. No other activity recorded until the cleaning team arrived days later.
  -We regret that there was a delay in accessing the entry code. Evolve typically resolves these issues directly with the homeowner or guest service manager, but it seems there was a breakdown in communication in this case.

• Lovely place to stay!

  Lovely house, well kept, clean, with most all amenities you'll need. Check in/entrance was a breeze, and any questions we had were quickly asked. Would definitely recommend. Beds were more on the firm side, and linens are microfiber, so not my preference, but still made do. For synthetic chemical sensitive people, this house was a dream! No smelly toxic air-fresheners, and it simply smelled clean/new. What a lovely place to stay. Thank you!

• Relaxing vacation

  I enjoyed spending time with friends on my spring break and this place was exactly what I needed. It was very clean and quiet. Definitely worth the trip
