  This property is in a quiet and safe neighborhood. The house was well stocked. We particularly enjoyed how close this property was to Edisto State Park and the visitor center.

  Nice home, reasonable price, awesome quiet area. Tons of wildlife roaming the yards and massive beautiful trees. Only real negatives were the water and the place was in a bit of a state of disrepair. The house is neat, well furnished, and the beds were decent. Bathrooms clean and tidy. The water is nasty. A spray of the kitchen sprayer cleared the room with a bad sulfer smell and we were gagging while brushing our teeth. Bring bottled water for cooking and coffee. I rinsed of my trucks windshield with the hose and it left a nasty film on the glass. The other negative was the hvac system. The air filter in the kitchen hadnt been changed in years. It was clogged completely and had mold on it. Several of the hvac vents were moldy as well. Again its a nice little place with plenty of room. Just needs a new air filter and a good cleaning/maintenance. Lots of little things like the outdoor hose/sprayer brocken, roof/deck buried in tree debris. I know this is a bit nit picky, but its a nice house that could be a lot nicer with a small amount of attention.The main issue is the water, its plain nasty. Def needs some service to the well filter. Overall we enjoyed our stay and it beats any hotel anyday. Just sort the water and hit it with some bleach and a little tlc. It'll be a 4 star gem.

A mild sulfur smell can occasionally occur in the area, but typically clears after running the water for a few seconds. This is a known and common occurrence locally. While most guests have not experienced issues and the home consistently receives 5-star reviews, we appreciate your input and will ensure the air filter is replaced promptly. • Perfect Weekend Getaway

  Our visit to Edisto was to celebrate a weekend of birthdays with plenty to do and perfect home to stay. The house was a beautiful location with quiet and wildlife to enjoy while relaxing in the rocking chairs.House was well equipped and loved the screened in porch for enjoying meals.
